Police may have caught scruffy bandit

Durham Police on Tuesday had arrested a possible suspect in a robbery at the BB&T on North Roxboro Road. He entered the bank at about 2:44 p.m. and gave a teller a note demanding money, said Kammie Michael, police spokeswoman. He was described as a black man in his 50s with a salt and pepper goatee and wore a gray hoodie. A similarly described suspect was implicated in prior robberies at Carter Bank & Trust and Yadkin Bank
