June 15: Best Bet
The N.C. Museum of History in Raleigh will present a free screening of the film “Cedars in the Pines,” which inspired the exhibit of the same name that comes to the museum Aug. 31. This screening will take place today at 2 p.m. at the museum at 5 E. Edenton St. Both the film and the exhibit were produced by the Khayrallah Program for Lebanese American Studies at N.C. State University. This is an image from the film of Isabel and Ellis Zaytoun, taken in the 1920s in New Bern.
